AWESOME Mail Day!
I absolutely LOVE days like today, when I come home to a mailbox (that would be snail-mail) brimming with goodies!
Okay...so the bill wasn't so good...and the tree-ravaging political advertisements were short lived on their way to the trashcan, BUT two things completely made my day!
First, my author's copy of Lust at First Bite arrived and it looks great! I am so completely stoked at having my short story, "Understudy" in this anthology, and I am so proud to be sharing the covers with Lisabet Sarai, Portia da Costa, and Madeline Moore among others. Look for this great Vampire anthology in January, but remember, you can pre-order now from Amazon!
And the second piece of mail that just sent me soaring?
The contract for my short story "The Morning Trade"!! "TMT" will appear in the Cleis anthology Girls on Top, edited by the fabulous Violet Blue, and due for release in February/March 2009!!
So, excuse me while I do a happy dance and enjoy a glass of good Riesling. It's been a VERY good day...
