Treats and Teases

Besides my collection Darkness and Delight, this fall has seen my stories in Best Bondage Erotica 2011 and Passion: Erotic Romance for Women, and Smooth.
Now, for some treats and teases!
One of the things I love about this time of year is the return of the Krampus! What would the season be without some erotic storytelling featuring Santa's devilish helper? On Tuesday, December 14th, read my erotic short story “St. Nicholas’ Eve” on the Circlet Press website. This story is in the anthology Like a Sacred Desire and will be available free that day only as part of their Advent celebration.
My erotic sci fi novel Man’s World will be released on January 4th! Stay tuned for more information about Man’s World, the release and a contest to celebrate the release! And most exciting, a very different print anthology sale!
A couple of years ago, Drake introduced me to the works of a German writer named Hanns Heinz Ewers. Almost unknown in the US, Ewers was a popular writer in Germany in the first three decades of the 20th Century. His novel, Alraune, was widely published worldwide and filmed three times in Germany. In the last two years, Side Real Press in England has begun reprinting Ewers’ work in beautiful limited editions.
Ewers’ stories are dark, decadent, and often have erotic elements in them, so when a call for submissions to a new anthology of tales inspired by his life and work appeared last year, I thought I would try to write something suitable. Dark, erotic, and decadent are three of my favorite adjectives.
My story "Tlaloc" was accepted by the anthology editor for the book, which has been titled Delicate Toxins and scheduled for publication early in 2011. The contents of the volume include:
'The Rites of Pentecost' - Peter Bell
'The Filature' - Adam Cantwell
'Tlaloc' - Angela Caperton
'Endor' - Mike Chislett
'Salmacis' - Stephen J. Clark
'A Pallid Devil Bearing Cypress' - Richard Gavin
'The Devil In The Box' - Orrin Grey
'Magicians And Moonlight' - Katherine Haynes
'Lotte Of The Black Piglet' - Colin Insole
'Crossing The Sea Of Night' - Mark Howard Jones
'Dogs' - rj krijnen-kemp
'The Naked Goddess' - Daniel Mills
'White Roses, Bloody Silk' - Thana Niveau
'Singing Blood' - Reggie Oliver
'Mathilde' - Ray Russell
'Masks'- Mark Samuels
'The Unrest At Aachen' - Mark Valentine
'Holzwege' - D. P. Watt
I’ll have more to write about Ewers and the genesis of my story as publication nears. I am very pleased to be included in this company!
And if you want a free bookmark, comment on my blog, add me as a friend on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter between now and midnight December 25th, and I’ll send it along!
Happy Holidays, everyone. Remember…the Krampus is watching you!
